What Is SWCS?
SWCS is a nonprofit, multidisciplinary organization for natural resource management professionals. It's mission is to advocate the protection, enhancement, and wise use of soil, water, and related natural resources.
Members come from federal, state, and local government agencies, corporations, universities, consulting firms, nonprofit organizations, and special interest groups--a diversity that promotes balance and credibility.
This professional society involves members in activities vital to the conservation of our soil and water resources. Through our conferences, activities, meetings, and outreach, we are striving to develop the conservation ethic so necessary for the survival of our natural resources in this new century.
